About our bacon

Most bacon is pumped with brine and run through a smokehouse in hours. Ours isn't. We cure every belly by hand with a custom brown sugar blend — organic pure cane sugar and organic blackstrap molasses — that builds a deep, rich sweetness from the inside out. Then we slow-smoke over hardwood hickory until it's done right. No liquid smoke. No compromises. This is craft bacon — developed here, cured here, smoked here. You won't find it anywhere else.

How much freezer space do I need?
A half hog (est. ~78 lb packaged) fits comfortably in a standard 5 cu ft chest freezer — with room left over. A whole hog needs about 8–10 cu ft. We're happy to talk space planning before you reserve.
What if I've never bought a whole hog before?
Most of our customers haven't, the first time. We send you a link to your online cut sheet, then we get on a call to walk you through it. Ten minutes. You'll know exactly what you're ordering.
How does pricing work?
Pricing is based on actual hanging weight at processing. Whole hog: hog at $5.00/lb HW (est. ~$1,080) + kill fee $70 + cut/wrap/processing at $1.05/lb HW (est. ~$227) = est. total ~$1,377. Half hog: est. ~$688 total. $700 (whole) or $350 (half) holds your hog — deposit is non-refundable. Estimated balance is due at pickup. All amounts are estimates; final invoice adjusted to actual hanging weight.

How long does it take from reservation to pickup?
From the day you reserve, plan on 3 to 4 weeks. Our processor batches weekly. We'll coordinate your pickup date after your cut sheet is finalized.
Can I split a half with a friend?
Lots of customers do this. Just note it on your cut sheet and we'll work with the processor. Call us to confirm details before you reserve.
